Staff vacancies
We are a vibrant, diverse group of church communities from the Arctic Circle to Morocco, with thousands of stories to share in creative and engaging ways.
Our teams are dedicated to supporting the work of our chaplaincies and other partners across our diocese.
Head of Safeguarding
We are committed to the highest standards of safeguarding, supporting victims and survivors of abuse; and creating a positive safeguarding culture in every worshipping community across our diocese.
In a rapidly changing external environment and in a wonderfully complex diocese, we are strengthening our safeguarding infrastructure. This permanent full-time Head of Safeguarding role will enable to you to bring your extensive experience as a professional safeguarding practitioner and play a key role in all our senior leadership structures, governance and decision making. You will provide strategic and operational leadership over all our safeguarding work and enable the Bishop and the Diocesan Board of Finance to fulfil their responsibilities to keep everybody safe.
If you are the person to lead and champion our commitment for transformational safeguarding at the highest strategic, leadership, management and operational levels; lead a high performing safeguarding team and guide us through a planned INEQE audit in October 2027 then we would love to hear from you.
