The Friends of the Diocese
The Friends of the Diocese is a group of people who have been supporting the Diocese in Europe since 1996 and share in its life through their interest, prayers and financial support.
The gifts are used to support a wide range of projects where funds might be short or not available through other sources.
For information on eligibility and how to apply for a grant, clergy should contact the Honorary Secretary and Readers the Ministry Administrator.

Many Friends maintain their interest through visits to chaplaincies, by investigating the history of the diocese and its work and by attending functions. Friends are invited to contribute an annual donation of £30, although many opt to pay more.
There is normally an annual reunion in London, consisting of a service followed by a reception. This is an ideal opportunity for Friends to meet each other, the bishops and other clergy and lay people from around the diocese.
