Supporting and leading this well-established worshipping community, which has a history of traditional Church of England worship. The role is about encouragement and strong pastoral support to an Anglophone community drawn from many varied contexts.
A person of prayer, teaching and preaching, our new Priest will have:
An ability to embrace cultural and denominational diversity.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
A willingness to promote and participate in wider community events.
A sensitive approach to worship, with a record of growing congregations.
The ability to speak & write French or a willingness to learn it.
Have the right to live and work in France either through holding an EU passport or a successful granting of a long-stay visitor visa.
In return, we offer an attractive remuneration package, aligned with standard practice in the Diocese in Europe, including accommodation, a car, and medical coverage for the priest and his/her family within the excellent French health system.
