Wildfires devastated the coastal town of Mati, on the outskirts of Athens, in 2018. Taking the lives of hundreds and destroying homes, the fires left many traumatised.
We were very sorry to learn of the death of The Reverend Paul Goodridge, who was priest in charge and then Chaplain of the Church of the Resurrection, Bucharest from 2015 to 2019.
This year, we have witnessed extreme weather caused by climate change in Europe as well as across the globe with heatwaves and floods affecting Germany, North-West Europe, Greece, Turkey, Spain and Italy.
