On Sunday evening 30th August,, the participants shared with the regular 6pm congregation at Holy Trinity Brussels in a service of Holy Communion on the theme of Living Water, as the Season of Creation begins.
The service was led by Revd Canon Arani Sen, Senior Chaplain and Chancellor of Holy Trinity, and the preacher the Ven David Waller, Archdeacon of Gibraltar and Italy and Malta. Rev Claire des Mesnards (United Protest Church France) and Rev Stephen Taylor (Anglican), as well as other members of Holy Trinity and the ECEN took part. During the service, there was the opportunity to lament for God's earth, as tears were dropped onto a river shaped banner and prayers were offered. Afterwards we all shared a delicious dinner and connectivity in the Holy Trinity Community Kitchen.
