The Diocese in Europe spans 300 congregations across 42 nations, serving multilingual, multicultural communities. Safeguarding is central to our mission of healing, justice, and hope, and we’re seeking a skilled, values-driven, experienced Safeguarding Caseworker to help shape and strengthen our safeguarding culture.
This is a role with real purpose, influence, and variety, perfect for a confident safeguarding practitioner who wants to make a difference at both operational and strategic levels.
You’ll thrive in this role if you are:
- An experienced safeguarding professional (children and adults)
- Skilled in managing complex, sensitive safeguarding concerns
- Confident in partnership working with statutory and voluntary agencies
- A clear, calm communicator with excellent judgement
- Trauma-informed approach, reflective, resilient, and values-led
- Able to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
- Experienced in safer recruitment, risk management, or safeguarding agreements
Essential qualifications:
- Relevant professional qualification
- Safeguarding Level 4+
- Minimum 5 years of safeguarding practice
- Ability to travel internationally at short notice
