HOUSE FOR DUTY - ST RAPHAEL, FRANCE
House for Duty Priest - 2 Days per week
We are looking for a suitably experienced Priest capable of leading this single, active, worshipping community located
on the Cote d ’Azur, South East of France.
Supporting and leading this well-established community, the role is about encouragement and strong pastoral support to an Anglophone community drawn from cultural and denominational diversity.
With a secure, personal Christian faith and confidence to be a strong Christian leader, our new Priest will have:
The ability to ensure the church continues to be a welcoming, friendly and compassionate place, participating in pastoral care as necessary.
To communicate effectively with people of all ages and backgrounds.
An ability to speak & write French would be highly desirable.
Leadership, administration and team working qualities to guide, develop and sustain a harmonious and effective church team.
A willingness to promote and participate in the wider community, developing the use of the church building for cultural and other events.
A sensitive approach to worship, with a record of growing congregations.
The right to live and work in France either through holding an EU passport or a successful granting of a long-stay visitor visa.
