Celebrating Nicaea: Music Resources

This anniversary is cause for celebration and it would be great to hear about how you may express this in your music and worship in your chaplaincies. Below are some inspirations:
Bishop Geoffrey's Hymn
Bishop Robert encourages all chaplaincies to sing this hymn to the Trinity, written by Bishop Geoffrey Rowell, the previous Bishop of Gibraltar in Europe.
It is particularly commended for Trinity Sunday but is suitable on any Sunday. We hope your communities will enjoy singing this glorious hymn!
You can find the words at this link: Download here
Here is a recording of the wonderful choir at Holy Trinity Geneva singing it (with much thanks to them for recording it!). It can be sung to several different tunes, including Ode to Joy, Abbot’s Leigh, Blaenwern, Ebenezer, Hyfrydol, and Lux Eoi).
Of the Father’s heart begotten. (Public domain)
The words are available here, plus Revd Jonathan Halliwell wrote a reflection on this beautiful piece, which you can read here.
